GENERAL DESCRIPTION


This individual will be responsible for managing the Wildfire Relief Warehouse to ensure smooth operation of receiving, organizing, and distributing goods in support of ReBUILD LA wildfire relief efforts and collaborating with other Habitat LA warehouse and construction teams.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Manage daily warehouse operations: maintain safety, cleanliness, and enforce OSHA compliance.
  • Oversee inventory management: receiving, inspecting, tracking, and distributing items.
  • Coordinate deliveries and logistics to ReStore locations and rebuilding sites.
  • Collaborate with staff/volunteers and assist with training, documentation/and reporting.

SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS


  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, 75 lb. physical lift test, background check, authorization, and a driving record check.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation to perform job duties, a valid CA Driver’s License, and meet the state-required amount of personal automobile liability insurance.
  • Proven experience in managing warehouse logistics and daily operations.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards.
  • Experience with inventory systems (receiving, inspecting, tracking, and distributing goods).
  • Experience in training or supervising team members.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting, loading/unloading goods, and standing for long periods.
  • Previous work with nonprofits or emergency/disaster response operations is a plus.

WORK CONDITIONS


  • Frequently it is required to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. alone, team lift 100 lbs.
  • Frequent movement around the office/warehouse/ReStore may be necessary.
  • Regular work with computers, including keyboards, mouses, and screens.
  • Working conditions consist of high temperature-controlled workspaces.
  • Noise levels are moderate to loud depending on the work area.

COMPENSATION


Pay Range: $23.00/hr.- $25.00/hr
