GENERAL DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Complete Home Repair tasks and daily new construction by guiding teams of construction workers and volunteers to safely complete the assigned work.
- Interact with homeowners/clients on the job site to inform them of progress and plans. Communicate with site leadership and provide regular project updates.
- Conduct safety training, maintain safety equipment on site and ensure safety practices are always implemented. Teach necessary skills to volunteer labor and manage crews of volunteers as directed by site leadership by providing details on tasks, tools, materials and schedules.
- Ensure tasks that are completed meet expectations and requirements and are of high quality.
- Other duties as assigned
SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+years of hands-on construction experience.
- 2+years leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- This is a full-time position. Work schedule: Tuesday- Saturday from 7:00am – 3:30 pm.
- Must have access to reliable transportation to perform job duties, a valid CA driver’s license and meet the state-required amount of personal automobile liability insurance.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check, driving record check and a 75 lb. lift test/physical examination.
WORK CONDITIONS
- Frequently it is required to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. alone, team lift 100 lbs.
- Frequent movement around the office/warehouse/ReStore may be necessary.
- Regular work with computers, including keyboards, mouses, and screens.
- Working conditions consist of high temperature-controlled workspaces.
- Noise levels are moderate to loud depending on the work area.
While performing the duties of a Construction Crew Leader the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle and/or feel objects, handle tools and/or controls, and talk to and/or hear. COMPENSATION
Pay Range: $25.00/hr. - $29.81/hr.
