GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Client Services Intake Manager leads a team of Intake Coordinators, making sure applicants are treated with care, screened properly, and connected to the right services. This role also helps guide our disaster response by managing intake during emergencies, working with other departments, and making sure urgent needs are handled quickly.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervise and support a team of Intake Coordinators, volunteers, and or interns. Provide training, coaching, and performance management to ensure consistent service delivery. Maintain a culture of empathy, accountability, and trauma-informed care.
- Design and implement workflows for program intake. Serve as the primary coordination point between the intake team and internal collaborative partners related to program implementation. Represent intake services in interdepartmental meetings and planning sessions.
- Work closely with Program Managers on the Community Development team to ensure smooth handoffs and aligned service delivery.
- Oversee data collection and accuracy within Salesforce/Home Keeper or related systems. Produce regular reports for internal leadership and funders on intake trends and cash flow. Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data and feedback.
SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, background check, authorization, and a driving record check.
- Must have access to reliable transportation to perform job duties, a valid CA Driver’s License, and meet the state-required amount of personal automobile liability insurance.
- Proven ability to manage and support teams, including staff and volunteers.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, partners, and program participants.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Familiarity with managing services and coordinating teams during emergencies or high-pressure situations (preferred but not required).
- Experience overseeing data entry, accuracy, and reporting in systems like Salesforce or Home Keeper (preferred but not required).
- Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and streamline processes.
- Understanding of intake processes and community resource navigation, especially in housing, disaster relief, or related sectors.

COMPENSATION
Pay Range: $26.44 - $31.25
