Many thanks to The American National Red Cross who awarded Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) a $200,000 grant to support disaster relief efforts. Supporting families affected by natural disasters requires immediate and collaborative efforts.

Habitat LA helps with immediate support to affected families and in the long-term, helps communities recover and regain the capacity to rebuild their lives. With this funding from The American National Red Cross, Habitat LA will be able to complete reconstruction and repair to at least 26 homes damaged or destroyed during the 2018 Woolsey Fire. The funds will be used to purchase materials and labor needed to ensure families can return to or remain in their homes safely. Over the last thirty years, Habitat LA has worked diligently to improve communities and this partnership with The American National Red Cross will help Habitat LA establish an even stronger presence.
