Prologis Donates 120,000-Square-Foot Warehouse to Habitat LA’s ReBUILD LA™ Wildfire Relief Effort

Los Angeles, CA (Date) – Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) is proud to announce an expanded partnership with Prologis, the global leader in logistics real estate, to support wildfire recovery efforts in Southern California. As part of its commitment to support the communities where it operates, Prologis is donating the use of a 120,000-square-foot warehouse to store essential donated goods—including mattresses and furniture—for families and individuals impacted by the devastating wildfires.

This vital contribution will enhance Habitat LA’s ReBUILD LA™ Wildfire Relief campaign, ensuring that displaced families have access to critical furnishings as they rebuild their lives.

“Safe and stable housing starts with more than just four walls—it’s about restoring a sense of normalcy,” said Erin Rank, President and CEO of Habitat LA. “Prologis’ generous donation of warehouse space will allow us to efficiently manage and distribute much-needed furniture and household essentials to families who have lost everything. Their continued partnership is an inspiring example of corporate leadership in times of crisis.”

Additional Help

In addition to the donated space, Prologis helped organize support from some of its supply chain vendors to contribute goods and services toward Habitat LA’s operations at the warehouse, including:

  • One Plumbing is providing complimentary plumbing services throughout Habitat LA’s tenure.
  • Smith & Severson Builders is offering pro bono services to assist in securing the Certificate of Occupancy, covering both inspection and permit fees.
  • Papé Material Handling is donating a forklift, helping staff to manage warehouse operations and support the campaign’s logistics.
