More than 600 Supporters are Slated to Attend in Support of Building a Greater Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA (September 24, 2015) – Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) will host the Los Angeles Builders Ball™ recognizing its counterparts in the building and real estate industries for their commitment to Los Angeles. This year’s event marks Habitat LA’s 25th Anniversary and will honor Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Bernards and Bank of America. The LA Builders Ball™ will take place on Wednesday, October 14 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel from 6pm-9pm. Sponsorships and individual tickets are available now at: http://bit.ly/LABuildersBall15.
The Los Angeles Builders Ball™ will serve as an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of individuals and organizations making a significant impact on the landscape of LA as well as a cornerstone fundraising event for Habitat LA. Proceeds will help Habitat LA revitalize distressed communities throughout Los Angeles and provide hope for families currently living in substandard housing.
Featured at the Los Angeles Builders Ball™ will be a VIP reception, followed by dinner, a live auction and performance by Jeffrey Osborne.
Since beginning his professional singing career in 1969, Jeffrey Osborne has produced five gold and platinum records and worked with a who’s who list of musical artists. He spent ten years with the popular funk and soul group, L.T.D.—first as a drummer, then as lead vocalist—before embarking on a successful solo career that included several Top 40 hits, such as “On the Wings of Love” and “Stay with Me Tonight.”
