Leftover Build Materials get Second Home at Habitat LA ReStores

jonathanPlease meet Jonathan Dilworth of C & D Partners, a development company whose focus is identifying and acquiring value-add multi-family and single-family properties located within infill* areas of Los Angeles. Jonathan and his team have partnered with Habitat LA ReStore to donate materials from their build sites.

A little more about Jonathan Dilworth:

“I’ve been in construction since I was in high school, working for a custom home builder in Michigan. I moved out to LA in 2008 and shortly after I started working for a non-profit, Penny Lane Centers as their Development Manager building affordable housing for homeless youth who are coming out of transitional housing or just emancipated out of the foster care system. From there, I grew my career working for private high net-worth families who had portfolios of real estate. Those opportunities are what gave me the background and confidence to start my own real estate development company, C & D Partners. We now have 8 homes under construction and actively seeking new opportunities every day. Having a background in the non-profit sector has created a soft spot for me with organizations like Habitat.”

Habitat LA ReStores would like to thank C&D Partners for their donations and their continued support in sustainability.

* Infill: In the urban planning and development industries, infill has been defined as the use of land within a built-up area for further construction, especially as part of a community redevelopment or growth management program or as part of smart growth.
