Los Angeles, CA – August 29, 2017: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) is pleased to announce its 2017-18 Board of Directors comprised of 23 members. The newly added Board members for this fiscal year include: Gerry Bross, Owner and General Manager of Hollywood Sierra Kitchens; Max de Brouwer, VP Finance North America, Grifols; Geoff Delahanty, Wealth Advisor, Thrivent Financial; Steven D. Johnson, Pastor of Business and Finance/CFO, Faithful Central Bible Church; Alex Kweskin, Managing Director/Head of Human Resources, Union Bank; and Araceli Villegas, VP, Global Content, Ringstar Sports. Gerry Bross previously served on the Habitat LA Board from 2010-2016 and Habitat LA is proud to welcome him back.

The Habitat LA Board of Directors is composed of leaders from a variety of industries and areas of expertise. All members are responsible for providing counsel and guidance to Habitat LA’s senior leadership and are an integral part of helping to execute the strategic plan. They are also charged with raising awareness about Habitat LA’s mission to Build a Greater Los Angeles as well as inviting others to get involved with the organization.

Habitat LA has built, renovated or repaired nearly 800 homes locally, helping to transform the lives of more than 4,000 Angelenos. By 2020, Habitat LA has a goal to invest $100 million into revitalizing neighborhoods and increasing access to affordable homeownership and home repair opportunities.
