Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) is once again accepting applications from families throughout the greater Los Angeles area to become partner homebuyers. Our newest home buying opportunities are in the Washington neighborhood of Long Beach, where we will soon break ground on 10 new houses.
Are you interested in becoming a Habitat LA partner homeowner? Join us for one of our information sessions which will be held on weeknights and Saturday mornings in May. Priority will be given to the first 100 applicants.
The deadline to apply is 5pm on Friday, May 31. Applicants must be low-to-moderate income households, first-time homebuyers with good credit and a demonstrated need for housing. In addition to the monthly mortgage payments, partner homeowners are responsible for a 1% down payment. They must also contribute up to 500 hours of sweat equity by working to build their future Habitat home and the homes of other Habitat homebuyers.
