Los Angeles — (January 2023) — Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) is pleased to announce City National Bank as presenting sponsor of the Los Angeles Builders Ball® for the fourth consecutive year. The 2023 Builders Ball will be held on Wednesday, March 8 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, and is Habitat LA’s largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds from the event contribute to Habitat LA’s efforts to build and preserve affordable housing.
Celebrating Habitat LA and its counterparts in the building, real estate, and related industries who help positively transform the landscape of Los Angeles, this year’s gala theme is Rise Up in recognition of all the ways individuals, donors and partners support Habitat LA’s mission to build homes, communities and hope.
“City National Bank understands that serving our communities helps us all build a better future. It’s in our DNA to help build pathways to economic stability that families can count on,” said Linda Duncombe, Habitat LA board member and City National’s Chief Marketing, Product and Digital Officer. “Every year, Habitat LA strives to make our city better through affordable housing and outreach programs. We continue to build together and strengthen our partnership, especially after the collective impact of the pandemic. It’s our privilege to help this organization positively impact the communities living in the city we love.”
City National Bank has long supported Habitat LA’s programs, contributing more than $850,000 since 2002. The bank also works with Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the country and strongly recognizes the value of giving back to the community through volunteerism. Throughout the years, colleagues from City National have assisted in building and repairing homes alongside Habitat LA.
As a recurring sponsor of several Habitat LA signature events — including the 2021 and 2022 Veterans Home Repair Blitz and the 2019 and 2020 Power Women, Power Tools® — City National Bank has continued to demonstrate its dedication to U.S. veterans, women of diverse backgrounds and careers, and low-income individuals or families seeking financial assistance and a decent place to live.
“For years, City National Bank has been a tremendous supporter of Habitat LA. We are thrilled to have them return as the presenting sponsor for our 2023 Los Angeles Builders Ball,” said Erin Rank, President and CEO, Habitat LA. “We share a commitment to seeing that our local communities have access to economic resources and opportunities. We are grateful for their earnest support through the brightest moments and the toughest times for the fourth year in a row.”
