Savvy shoppers have long known to check out the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) ReStores for amazing deals on new and gently used furniture, appliances, building materials, and home accessories. But even the most experienced bargain hunters are often surprised to find brand new cabinets mixed in among the porcelain tiles, stainless steel refrigerators, and mid-century modern tables and chairs.
The shaker-style cabinets are made from solid plywood (no particle board here), with dovetail drawers and soft-close hardware. They come in white, gray, and a rich brown espresso shade, and in a variety of shapes and sizes to fit just about any kitchen. The best part? They all sell for 25-50 percent less than in traditional retail stores.
“We are able to sell our high quality, soft-close, hardwood cabinets at significantly lower prices than big box stores. We spent two years researching and negotiating incredible pricing direct from the manufacturer,” said Erin Rank, President and CEO of Habitat LA. “We are thrilled to pass along those savings onto our customers.”
Habitat LA’s ReStores are open to the public seven days a week from 8:30am-7:30pm. In addition to the newest showroom at 1071 S. La Brea Ave in Los Angeles, ReStores are located in Torrance (18600 Crenshaw Blvd.) and adjacent to our headquarters in Bellflower (8739 Artesia Blvd.).
