― HONORING ―

Tina Knowles – 2026 Dream Builder Award
Author, activist, and visionary leader Tina Knowles has spent her life turning creativity into opportunity and dreams into lasting impact.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles is proud to honor Tina Knowles with the 2026 DreamBuilder Award for her unwavering commitment to uplifting communities and expanding access to dignity, stability, and hope.
For more than two decades, Tina has been a dedicated supporter of Habitat for Humanity — and for the past 12 years, a deeply engaged partner of Habitat LA. She has shown up time and again at builds across Los Angeles, including the Hollywood Build, Power Women Power Tools, and the Builders Ball, offering not only resources but her presence, time, and heart.
Through her leadership with BeyGOOD and her lifelong advocacy for underserved communities, Tina embodies what it means to build beyond walls — investing in people, possibility, and future generations.
Tonight, we proudly honor Tina Knowles for helping turn the dream of home into a foundation for hope.
U.S. Bank – 2026 Foundation Builder Award
Strong communities are built through consistency, trust, and shared responsibility. That belief is why Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles is proud to honor U.S. Bank with the 2026 Foundation Builder Award.
For more than 20 years, U.S. Bank and the U.S. Bank Foundation have been steadfast partners of Habitat LA — providing not only financial support, but time, leadership, and long-term investment in communities across Los Angeles County.
Their support spans Habitat LA’s most critical initiatives, from homeownership and volunteer builds to wildfire recovery through ReBUILD LA.
Most notably, the U.S. Bank Foundation’s support of the ReBUILD LA Navigator Program has helped wildfire-impacted families find guidance, stability, and a path forward during one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
Beyond funding, U.S. Bank employees contribute thousands of volunteer hours on build sites throughout Los Angeles, reinforcing the belief that community is built together.
Tonight, we honor U.S. Bank for helping build homes, strengthen communities, and create hope across Los Angeles.

Brookfield Residential – 2026 Builder of the Year
At Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, building a home means more than restoring what was lost — it means standing with communities when action, partnership, and trust matter most.
That belief is why we are proud to honor Brookfield Residential as our 2026 Builder of the Year.
As a leading homebuilder and land developer, Brookfield Residential brings deep expertise in creating thoughtful, resilient communities. Their response to the January 2025 Los Angeles wildfires demonstrated the true strength of that leadership.
In the wake of devastation in Altadena and the Pacific Palisades, Brookfield stepped forward — listening first, then acting — to help families rebuild homes that respect the character of each neighborhood while supporting long-term recovery. Through accessible rebuilding plans and transparent pathways forward for homeowners, their work reflects a future-focused approach rooted in collaboration, innovation, and care.
Brookfield’s partnership with Habitat LA represents what’s possible when preparation meets purpose — when organizations ready to act choose to build together. Tonight, we honor Brookfield Residential for helping rebuild not just homes, but stability, dignity, and hope for Los Angeles.
Shalamar – Live at the Los Angeles Builders Ball
Get ready for A Night to Remember at the Los Angeles Builders Ball.
Born from the iconic TV show Soul Train, Shalamar became one of the most successful soul acts of all time, selling more than 25 million records worldwide and delivering the feel-good dance classics that defined an era.
Today’s powerhouse lineup features Grammy Award-winner Howard Hewett, legendary performer Jeffrey Daniel—who introduced body-popping to Europe and taught Michael Jackson the moonwalk—and Carolyn Griffey, who has carried the Shalamar legacy forward with style since 2001.
From “Second Time Around” and “Take That to the Bank” to “Dancin’ in the Sheets” and the iconic “A Night to Remember,” their Greatest Hits performance is a celebration of funk, disco, R&B, and pure joy.
Tonight, that same electric energy comes to the Builders Ball stage. So loosen the bow tie, adjust the heels, and get ready for the dance floor.
Because when Shalamar shows up… the party follows.
