GENERAL DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Oversee the management of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment approvals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support operational goals.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Liaise with external auditors during audits to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Utilize Sage software for various accounting functions, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have access to a reliable internet connection.
- Must have access to reliable transportation to perform job duties, a valid CA driver’s license and meet the state-required amount of personal automobile liability insurance.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen a criminal background check, and a credit check.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or a similar role within a corporate/non-profit environment.
- Knowledge of Construction and Job Costing allocations preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, GAAP, and IFRS standards.
- Proficient in general ledger accounting practices and accounts payable processes.
- Experience with financial analysis techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct accounting software is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Work Independently and help develop & plan out goals and objectives & efficiency improvements for the department.

COMPENSATION
The base pay range for this position is $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
