GENERAL DESCRIPTION


We are seeking an individual to raise increased funds through the successful identification, cultivation, and solicitation of annual gifts from individual donors.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Manage, oversee, and grow areas of the Individual Giving Team's Annual Giving Campaign including, but not limited to, our Cars for Homes program, Monthly Giving, Employee Giving, Individual Build Day program, peer-to-peer fundraising, and additional third-party, cause marketing events.
  • Assist in the implementation of the team's stewardship plan including extensive stewardship and cultivation of a donor portfolio of 50-75: building up our mid-level donor base.
  • Maintain accurate donor records conduct extensive donor research and tracking of all donor communications and activity: ensure our database is reflective of activity and accurate.
  • Assist with all affiliate signature events, engaging and cultivating individual donors and prospects, while providing general event support. Additionally, collaborate with the team members in the planning and implementation of special donor events, as needed, including friend-raisers, third-party events, and donor recognition/appreciation events.

SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS


  • Must have access to a reliable internet connection.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation to perform job duties, a valid CA driver’s license and meet the state-required amount of personal automobile liability insurance.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen a criminal background check, and a credit check.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge) and donor management systems.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for working with donors, volunteers, board members, and internal teams.
  • Ability to develop and implement long-term fundraising strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and mission.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with a wide range of stakeholders, including high-net-worth individuals, board members, and community leaders.

COMPENSATION


The base pay range for this position is $ $28.85- $36.06 per hour. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
