The Non-Profits will showcase the environmental and humanitarian benefits of the reuse of building materials in Booths #52 & #53 Santa Monica, CA – May 10, 2013: Habitat For Humanity of Greater Los Angeles’ ReStores and Deconstruction & Reuse Network (DRN) will be joining forces at this year’s Alt Build Expo in Santa Monica to show what the community can gain from their collaboration.  There is a direct benefit to the environment and community through the efforts of deconstruction and reuse of building materials, including supporting the building of affordable homes and ensuring materials are repurposed and diverted from local landfills.  Through its deconstruction and reuse services, DRN provides a consistent flow of building materials and home fixtures for HFH GLA’s ReStores located in Gardena and Norwalk.
