Building a Greater Los Angeles Blog

So often people say at the start of the New Year, “I want to give back this year, that is my resolution.” Volunteering with HFH is truly giving something back to your community as well as giving something to yourself. It is so easy to volunteer with us, and we are always in need of those who would like to help. You don’t have to know how to use a nail gun to help. You can volunteer in our Habitat for Humanity Home Improvement Store, or help your children’s school raise money for Nickels for Nails, a program designed to help children raise money for supplies necessary at every build event. Whether you have a week to devote to a Blitz build, or a day to volunteer raising money, you can give back to the Los Angeles community. Contact volunteers@habitatla.org for more information about keeping your New Year’s resolution!
