Global Work

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles’ work does not end in our local community.  HFH GLA tithes at least 10% of all undesignated funds towards building homes globally and has supported the construction of more than 340 homes internationally.  Habitat for Humanity served 57,000 families outside of the U.S. in 2009.  Currently, HFH GLA is the 8th top tithing affiliate among U.S. Habitat affiliates and the 2nd top tithing affiliate in California.

HFH GLA has supported the work of Habitat for Humanity affiliates in South Africa, Armenia, India, Thailand, Nepal, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Chile, Haiti, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Nicaragua.
